13th & 14th February 2010 - 10.00am to 5.00pm
A two day workshop over Chinese New Year, suitable as an introduction and for further exploration of Body Harmony
Tiger years are said to be complex, exciting and demanding. Honouring the tiger spirit this weekend is designed to help you surf challenging energy and make the most of these times in your life. The class goal is to review individual responses to times of challenge and expansion, heal past effects and build a new style of response where this would be beneficial. It is suitable as an introduction to Body Harmony as well as for those wishing to expand their skills and understanding of Body Harmony - and themselves.
Presented by Kit Ford Young, International Body Harmony teacher and practitioner.
Passionate about this work from first touch, Kit was authorised to practice in 1991, subsequently being formally certified at the first U.K. Body Harmony practitioner certification training in 1992. She has been practising and teaching it ever since, gaining teacher accreditation in 1994.
In the spirit of this ever evolving system, she enjoys learning with Don McFarland and many wonderful Body Harmony teachers from around the world. Her classes have been described as stimulating yet peaceful and loving, her body work and intuitive style as gentle and empowering.
A qualified nurse since 1979 Kit is a former nurse teacher with a special interest in therapeutic presence and the emotional and spiritual components of care. She has experience in, and continues to study across a wide range of mind, body and energy disciplines, blending wisdoms from many sources into her work. She has also taught a simple and profound form of Usui Reiki since 1992.
